A co-worker and I went to see Iron Man Friday. It totally kicked ass. I would put it on the same level as Batman Begins. I would definitely pay to see that again.
They also had a preview for the new Batman movie, which also looks kick ass.

Oh for the love of all that is holy. Who in the hell thought it was a good idea to remake the 1956 movie Invasion of the Body Snatchers; again; for the fourth freaking time? Yes people, a fourth time. Like the third remake wasn't enough.
Unbelievable.
Overrated.
The ending fights between Yoda/Emperor and Obi-wan/Anakin were awesome. Everything leading up to those scenes were weak at best. But alas, at least it didn't suck as much as I and II.
I went and saw ALien vs. Predator this evening. It certainly could have been worse considering the 4 ALien movies and 2 Predator movies. But it wasn't all that bad.
We also went to see Bourne Supremacy last week. I think it was just as good as the first one in that franchise. It's not often that one can claim that about a sequel.
I saw a great movie today on the Independent Film Channel called The Legend of 1900. It's about a boy born on a ship and left there to grow up. He becomes a piano virtuoso. He becomes so used to a life of limits that he can not bring himself to leave the ship and venture out into a limitless world; even when the ship is decommissioned.
We went and saw Spiderman 2 this evening. I thought it was pretty darn good. I think it was better than the first one, but that was pretty good too.
Out of all the "marvel movies", these is certainly a lot better than the others (Punisher, DareDevil, Hulk).
Mercy. Please. No More. Uncle.
